چکیده

The object of research is the process circular and surface grinding titanium alloy corrosion-resistant steel, namely, cutting forces arising from mechanical processing. One most problematic areas in work selection required modes, material wheel grain size. In course experiment, we used samples VT8 12Х18N9T on which was studied with wheels made various materials (electrocorundum, cubic boron nitride (CBN), diamond). values Py Pz were obtained latitude permissible are often flat grinding, can reach maximum values, respectively, Py=27 N, Pz=15.5 N. data at a low speed electrocorundum, about 15 m/s size 8. By reducing wheel, get effect increasing energy consumption process, due to increase forces. If compare different wheels, then following be noted. Compared electrocorundum when using CBN reduced by 20–25 %, diamond (despite high wear wheel), 25–30 %. This fact that conditions favorable for grains, makes it possible use more intense conditions. results study allow predicting performance production, also adjusting processing mode part obtain necessary quality indicators layer geometric dimensions part.

New Diamond Grinding Wheels with Electrically Conductive Cutting Edges

The application of an electrically conductive diamond material to a new type of grinding wheel whose cutting edges possess electrical conductivity has been tried in this research work. Firstly, electrical discharge machining is applied on a solid surface of an electrically conductive CVD diamond film to create protrusions like cutting edges. Secondly, it is confirmed that the EDMed surface of t...

Effect of Cutting Parameters on Cutting Forces and MRR During Turning Hard Alloy Steel With and Without Coolant

This paper investigates the effect of different cutting parameters (cutting speed, feed rate, and depth of cut) on cutting force components and material removal rate (MRR) in dry and wet hard turning processes. The workpiece material, hardened alloy steel AISI 52100, was machined on a CNC lathe with coated carbide tool under different settings of cutting parameters. Three cutting parameters eac...
